We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the webinar, we never sell your data, and we use it only for the purposes set out below.

2. The webinar co-organisers
The webinar is delivered jointly by:
- MAGIC Evidence Ecosystem Foundation — magicevidence.org
- Norsk Revmatikerforbund (NRF) — the Norwegian Rheumatism Association
- REMEDY — Center for treatment of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Diseases, hosted by Diakonhjemmet Hospital, Oslo
Where we share registration details with these organisations (see section 6), each organisation is responsible for its own use of that data under its own privacy policy.
3. What personal data we collect
When you complete the registration form, we collect:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Professional role (e.g. patient or carer, clinician, researcher, guideline developer)
- Organisation (optional)
- Your time zone, so we can show the correct local start time
To record your consent and protect the form from abuse, we also store the consent text you agreed to, the date and time of your registration, your IP address, and your browser type (user agent). When you visit the site we may also process standard technical data and cookies (see section 5).
4. Why we use your data and our legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Register you and send the webinar join link, reminders and practical information for this event | Your consent — Art. 6(1)(a) |
| Understand the audience mix (by role) so we can tailor the session | Consent — Art. 6(1)(a) |
| Keep a record of your consent, secure the form, and prevent spam and abuse | Our legitimate interests — Art. 6(1)(f) |
We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we do not make automated decisions about you. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 9).
5. Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies that are necessary for the site to work and to remember your cookie choices. Any non-essential or analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the banner or your browser settings.
6. Who we share your data with
We share your data only where it is needed to run the webinar:
- Service providers (data processors) acting on our instructions — website hosting and infrastructure, email delivery (to send your join link), and our content-delivery and security provider (Cloudflare). These providers may only use the data to provide their service to us.
- The webinar platform you use to join the live session, which processes the data needed to admit you to the event.
- The co-organisers named in section 2, where necessary to deliver and follow up on this specific webinar.
We never sell your personal data or share it for third-party advertising.
7. International transfers
Insta-Advertising Kft. is based in Hungary (EU). Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by an adequacy decision or by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. How long we keep your data
We keep your registration data until the webinar has taken place and for up to 12 months afterwards, so we can send you the recording and related materials and follow up on this event. After that it is deleted, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Records that prove your consent are kept only as long as needed to demonstrate compliance.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to our processing;
- receive your data in a portable format; and
- withdraw your consent at any time — this does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.
To exercise any of these rights, or to unsubscribe, email [email protected]. Every email we send you also includes an unsubscribe option.
10. Complaints
If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you can contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority:
- Hungary (our supervisory authority): Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH) — naih.hu
- Norway: Datatilsynet — datatilsynet.no
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if our processing changes. The current version, with its “last updated” date, will always be available on this page.
